Could we see bonus content if there is a Metroid Dread save file on the Switch? Will the game be significantly larger in size than previous entries? Could there be a DLC campaign where you get to play as Sylux? Could Samus have a customizable base of operations in the game? Will Retro revisit the scrapped Meta Kraid concept cor Metroid Prime 1? What is the single best and single worst thing than Metroid Prime 4 can do?

The gang is back talking more Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, and this week, we asked all of you to get in on the action and ask us questions about Samus's upcoming adventure! We got so many questions in-fact that were breaking this into two parts! On the docket this week: should Federation Forces Slow Beam return? What are the chances Admiral Dane pops back up? If we are time travelling, what areas of a past Tallon IV would we want to see? With Sylux confirmed as the antagonist, do we still get a Ridley fight? What Prime Trilogy entry would we like to see Beyond pull from the most AND the least? Is Melee combat going to be a thing in the new game? And maybe most importantly - is Sylux actually Joey in disguise (we jest)?!

The band is back together again, still reeling from last weeks' incredible reveal of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. This week, we're sharing our theories on what could be going on with the story, including: is there going to be any time travel or alternative dimensions that we can travel to? What is motivating Sylux and why do they hate the Federation so much? Could see revisit planets previously seen in the Trilogy? When does this game take place in the timeline? IT'S REAL! After seven long years, we FINALLY got our first look at the newly rechristened Metroid Prime 4: Beyond! The fellas get together to break down the trailer and everything saw, from the impressive graphics to the slick HUD, offer our thoughts on Samus's design for her Power Suit and Gunship, offer thoughts on how the Scan Visor works, touch on the music and audio queues in the trailer, and of course, break down THAT moment where the world was officially introduced to Sylux! We also reflect on what this announcement means to us personally, as a collection of friends who started a weekly Metroid podcast years ago, to finally see the inspiration for the start of our journey!

Everyone's favorite game-show, Samus's Percentages, returns! The premise is simple: we read a statement and then assign it a percentage on it coming true or not, and this time around, we're focusing on Metroid Prime 4 and the June Direct! We're giving our percentages on questions like: do we see Metroid Prime 4? Do we see any Metroid titles? Will there be two or less first party Nintendo games shown? Is Metroid Prime 5 releasing within 3 years after Prime 4? Will Nintendo let the Switch 2 launch with Prime 4 as its only game for a month?

We're answering your questions, such as: despite it being a great game, is Samus Returns a great remake? Could Aeion abilities have regenerated the same way as in Dread, or would that have made them OP? Is the Surface theme truly an iconic song? Was the inclusion of the Baby Metroid one of the smartest ideas in the series? Is there still a chance Samus Returns could end up on Switch? Do we prefer Fusion difficulty to Dread difficulty?

Mapping Metroid returns to tackle one of the oldest - and deadliest - areas in the series: Ridley's Lair from NEStroid! We're back almost 40 years to examine the layout of this area, how it serves as a skill-checking gauntlet run for the player, the creepy and unsettling music and how it adds to the atmosphere, if this hideout could have used a few more items and expansions, our favorite rooms ans the trickery involved in them, and of course, the epic(?) showdown with the earliest version of Ridley!
All this, PLUS some ROM-Hack talk, Zero Mission comparisons, a new Doom game rumored, and a debate over the recently released Furiosa! Come and hear out thoughts and let us know what you think of Ridley's Lair!
